The best hang out place for barkadas less budget needed but good halo halo and its variety coupled with their matching sandwich. It just reminds me of my childhood when my mother use to drag me to there for a quick snack.

This snack house has been around for the longest time. Best halo-halo in town with pork sandwiches to match. Always a long line during the afternoon but is worth the wait once you get to taste their signature snacks. Must try when in Catbalogan.

This place is perhaps the longest running in business and is a favorite stopover for some people just to have a quick snack to satisfy their cravings in a hot afternoon with the place's special halo-halo, a place to have a long conversation with friend, or eating alone in the fresh ambiance of the place's garden outside. To some, like me, it's a reminder of one's childhood and it was not complete going to the city's downtown area without going to Tina's Garden and have their classic servings and specialties on your table. They have a TV set up for everybody inside to watch and look out for those long queues in the peaks of the afternoon. Better avoid them than standing for too long. Tina's Garden has a lot of choices from sandwiches to empanada, pudding, and some common drinks. Their specialty known to everybody is the halo-halo plus some other cold beverages. Although not unique among others, it's the classic Filipino delicacy served in a homely fashioned setting that make this place still click with the public.
